Viewing by clicking on the lock icon has been on the wishlist for a long time, but has yet to be implemented. As of right now, the only thing you can do is go to Tools-Preferences-Security-Manage Certificates-Authorites-Select each one (or just one if you know what it is for that site)-View and put checkmark in Warn Me Before Using This Certificate. Then you will get a warning on the site that shows you the info you want.
Hello,
How do you view security certificates on secured websites in Opera? Unlike IE6, I tried clicking on the lock icon on the top rite hand corner, but it's not showing any certificates at all. Basically I want to see if the name on the certificate is really the company that owns the website. Thanks for your time!
