Uninstall Printer in XP

Unplug your printer and if I remember correctly.

Go to Control Panel --> open Printers. In Printers --> File menu --> Server Properties -->Select Drivers tab.
If your printer is properly installed it should be listed there.
Select your Printer driver --> hit Remove.
After you uninstall the printer driver reboot XP.

Your instructions did work getting it out of D i think, but now a popup appears that it found new hardware. It is not in the control panel. Thanks for the help. This is beyond me so i have called someone to finish the installing or finding the hardware.

Are you sure that your printed is already uninstalled? Doesn't Lexmark printers have an uninstall icon?

If you already used the uninstall icon and the printer is there, maybe the process had errors. Try to go into the printer folder and do the uninstalling process again.
