Question

How to undo or restore ipconfig /flushdns

Dec 31, 2014 8:15AM PST

while creating a draft email in google chrome, the draft disappeared. I used several websites to gather information, not realizing I was in incognito mode. There is no history of my searches.

I looked up youtube video
HOW TO CHECK PRIVATE BROWSING HISTORY

unfortunately, instead of watching the whole video first, I did this, >>> ipconfig /flushdns <<<<

So now I don't know how to undo this command and get back the browsing history.

Is there another way to find my browsing history or undo the >>>ipconfig /flushdns<<< command????

Only if we backup could we restore.

At least you know how you bombed out. Why not draft in notepad next time since you can save as you go?

There has to be a way to find, in the dns, all chrome searches cache. Even those from incognito searchs.

Simply no.

The concept of this mode is to cover your tracks. Now you want it broken? Have to write no.

Now there is that NSA discussion, ISP logs but that can really upset folk.

I don't think the dns has anything to do with storing chrome searches. Why do you think so?

Answer
you are out of luck

basically you are out of luck and will have to start from scratch. If you would to be able to recover sites from incognito mode, then it would be a worthless feature.
