How to travel across the pond.......

Apr 29, 2007 7:25PM PDT

I don't post very often in SE nowadays, but I received these instructions from a friend by email yesterday, and it made me giggle... a lot!

My apologies if it's been posted before.

Mark

Do you want to travel from the US to the UK? (You say YES here!! Happy ).

If so, then you will need directions, and Google is the best place to go for directions. Just follow the instructions below;

1. go to http://www.google.com
2. click on 'maps'
3. click on 'get directions'
4. type 'New York' in the first box (the 'from' box)
5. type 'London' in the second box (the 'to' box)
6. click on the 'Get directions' button
7. scroll down to step #24

{This may not be suitable for all travelers}

Hmmmm.... wonder if the swimming lanes follow the shipping lanes.Happy

And is the flight to London to Gatwick or Heathrow? That would make a difference for collecting frequent flier miles. Happy

You're welcome to drop by any time, Mark.

Any why do we need to go to FRANCE first?
Apr 30, 2007 7:43PM PDT

And, why do the directions not tell us how to get to England from France? Oh well, what's another 26 mile swim anyway? Devil
