Re: transferring contact from iPhone to Samsung GS II

You can't connect them directly, so you'll have to use at least one intermediate step: from iPhone to x, from x to Samsung. What exports does the iPhone (or probably) iTunes have for contacts? What imports does the Samsung have for contacts? Anything in common?

It could well be that it turns out the only solution is to type them in. The only advantage is that it's a nice occasion to clean it up.

Why not try;
iPhone --> iTunes --> Google Contacts --> Android

Have whoever you purchased the Samsung from do it...

When I buy a new cell phone, I always have the place where I buy it do the transfer of contacts. It may cost a couple of bucks (usually not more than $10 after the fact, usually free at the time of purchase), but it is reliable and quick.

use Phone Transfer

Have you ever tried Phone Transfer? You can manage to transfer contacts from iPhone to Samsung with it.
