You should not be concerned since anything you value would have a backup on your backup copies.
If you are concerned then it's time to re-think what your backup strategy will be.

I need to upgrade the hard drive of my Window 7 (64 bit home premium) laoptop. I have successfully used HDclone software to clone the existing Hard drive to the new one and replace the old hard drive with the new one. The new drive boot O.K. I have started a few program and everything seems to be fine. I now want to reformat the old HD for other use. I am not sure if there is any better way to ensure that the new drive is working before I go the way of no return. I am not sure if just booting and starting a few programs is good enough. Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.
