Apr 8, 2005 7:55AM PDT

Hi I know there must be a simple way- my Dell8400 displays the black setup screen at each reboot- says "press F1 to continue or F2 to enter setup"-tried scrolling down to the POST behavior and chose"display neither setup nor etc."-saved changes, exited setup and still-get that stupid screen! It's the little things..Is MSCONFIG the answer?HELP!!

Not an OS or Windows screen.

That's programmed into the BIOS. Some BIOS have a way to remove it, some don't. Only DELL will know on this one.

Don't bother thinking about Microsoft for this issue.

Thanks- called Dell, after many transfers, disconnects and thick accents, found a wonderful tech who solved the problem.
