This is not a native feature in most setups. You didn't tell if your laptop had WiDi so I'm guessing you have NOTHING.

I have recently purchased a Samsung Smart TV and would like to share my HP laptop with Win7 display wirelessly.
It would really be nice to share the desktop wirelessly for working from home, displaying recipes, pictures, and projecting media like movies and MS PowerPoint presentations.
I can see the device in Devices and Printers, but unsure how to make the actual connection needed to share my display and sound.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.
