USB cable with usb on both ends will work.

You will need a usb cable that has usb ports on both ends.
If you have this, check if the usb drivers are installed on both PCs. To do this, go to
Device Manager and make sure the USB is in the list. Once you find it, double click and in the general tab it should mention the device is working properly. If this is the case the usb ports on both PCs are functional so your data can be transferred.
