But you wrote RIM which was an acronym used back in RAMBUS days. Even then you didn't turn on/off memory slots but could with a Windows setting limit the RAM used by Windows.
Sadly I think you are off the beaten path by quite a distance and my advice is to enable all the RAM and leave it at that.
Lol I Hate to tell the person but one program/software program that "European MS doesn't offer is "windows offered is no longer for sale it's called Memory manager, as you could turn on different memory slots : example 8 rim slots and shut off other one's in such of making them all work in certain order, or just letting computer manage them.
right now most 8 rim slots on computer board will only use 2 to 3 rims as 5 go on unused even on high rate of data,
As it makes me wonder if it has 8 core's in single processor chipset.
in such Processor doens't come with manage core processor which helps allow for align to memory to Processor chip sets.
