Question

How to set print preview to 100% w/o manually setting

Mar 28, 2012 10:26AM PDT

I am running IE8 & XP (fully updated). I would like to have the Print Preview automatically set to 100% each time I use it rather than 10%. Somehow it got set to 54% but I have no idea of how that happen. It also used to be set at 100% but also changed to 10 %, again I have no idea why. I tried using other suggestions of adding a new key to the registry but that didn't work so I reset registry back to the way it was before.

Any suggestions would be greatly appericated.

Thank u for the response to my post

I tried your suggestion but it did not stick. I am still confused as to where the setting comes from. Like I said, the setting started out at 100%, changed to 10% & now is setting at 54% without me changing anything that I am aware of. Thanks again.

No confusion here.

There are parts of apps (this is an app and not the OS!) that Microsoft has never exposed, documented or revealed. This is one of those parts.
