How to set default font-type?

I have doubt about,possibility to set default 'font-type' to windows xp.If this is possible means, whether this font-type is default to all windows application and How to set in windows XP.

set "Verdana" is default font in windows xp. Will all editor application accept this.?

Nope, this is a per-program setting, and there is no universal default.

u know anything about HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Fonts ,FontMapper..
