I worry here.

There is so much on the Internet about SEO that either you didn't know to research such or your post was an attempt at SEO which on many sites is not allowed.

-> Again, you have passed up your biggest and cheapest source of SEO information. You may be new so here's how to find it. Get to a google.com screen and type in your post's title question. It's that simple.

Guest Blog Posts Really Work

My advice is finding a good contributor platform and regularly contributing content to this platform.
I found Opporty. It was easy to register and start pitching articles to the blog. They didn’t mind links to my website embedded in blog posts and charged no fees for publishing.
Their blog is user-friendly, with a straightforward interface, and I like their entertaining gamification features. By pitching articles on a regular basis and reacting to other writers’ posts with likes and comments, you get points toward awards and score higher ratings. The blog features a special section for the best authors. It worked as a great attention grabber and helped me attract several new clients.
I have been regularly contributing content to this platform over the past few months. Since new articles are featured first in the blog, my posts are getting attention, and traffic to my site is growing bit-by-bit.
