There is no waterproof phone....

......only water resistant. I suggest you purchase a rugged water resistant case no matter what phone you choose.

Not exactly.....

Just like the myth or waterproof phones, cases are also only water resistant. Don't ever believe claims to the contrary.

Have to agree.

While I've used underwater camera cases over the years, they can leak so you're always checking the seals, cleaning and always at risk even when everything looks good.

The trick I learned over the years is a ziplock baggie has at times been the best waterproofing device over cases.

Doesn't exist

No such thing as "waterproof" in reality. Diving watches are also not waterproof and are labeled water resistant instead.

IP68phone Rating

Galaxy Note8, S8, S8+, S7, and S7 edge feature an IP rating of 68, which means you can bring it with you on adventures and take comfort in knowing that you can carry on using these devices.

Devices backed by an international standard rating of IP68 are deemed fit enough to withstand dust, dirt, and sand, and are resistant to submersion up to a maximum depth of 1.5m underwater for up to thirty minutes.

Hope this is good option for you
