Dave, This Is How I Do It

Bring up the screen that you want to take a screenshot of.. While holding down the "Alt" key, press the "Print Screen" key. Release them both and the picture will automatically be saved to the background "Clipboard". Now click on Start-All Programs-Accessories-Paint. When the "Paint" program opens, click on "Edit" in the upper left corner of the windows, choose "Paste". The picture should be pasted into the Paint program window. In order to save the picture, click on "File" in the upper left of the Paint windows, choose "Save As", then make sure the new file is being saved to a place you'll remember,(like the "My Documents" folder), then give it a file name, then click on the "Save" button.

You can now close all the current windows, open up the "My Documents" folder and double click on the file to open it as a picture.

Hope this helps.

Sounds like you already have what you want.

Do you see, in the MS Paint window, that portion of the screen that you want?

If so, then what do you want to do?
Save it? then select File>Save
Print it? the select File>Print
