Sep 19, 2015 6:14AM PDT

Everywhere I looked people say ''press F8'' but thats not how it is with my PC and the startup flashes so quickly, I can't even see which button I should press and in a blink of an eye its too late to press any... I can see Del, F6, F11 and some other but none of these three worked...

So no one can be sure what should work. On some machines I have to press F8 about 3 or more times a second after power up and keep tapping until Windows sees it.

Answer
And Sometimes, Shift + F8

The "Shift" key slows down/blocks the startup of certain programs on the computer...and pressing the F8 key repeatedly usually gets it done.

Hope this helps.

F8

Hello,

The conventional way of entering Safe Mode still works in Windows 7 and Vista, and in some Windows 8 PCs. Boot the computer and start pressing and releasing F8 repeatedly. Once the Advanced Boot Options menu pops up, you can select Safe Mode or Safe Mode with Networking.

I hope this will help your concern.
Have a great day!
