How to run 2 pc's from one?

Jun 13, 2007 2:22AM PDT

I just got a second PC. I use one for design and the other to run a on line radio station. Here is my dilemma, I don't want to have to use another mouse and keyboard to use this other PC. Is there a program out there that will help me work on both PC's using just one keyboard, one mouse and one monitor, so that I don't have to switch back and forth. A added bonus will be that the program will allow me to easily transfer files between the 2 PC's. Both systems run on Windows XP.
Thanks

You can use a KVM Switch to use the same keyboard/mouse/monitor for multiple computers. The newegg.com link should get you started.

As to file sharing, have you considered purchasing a cheap router? Sending files over the internet is one solution, but it's slow and unnecessary.
