Resolved Question

how to retrieve info from password protected hard drive

Feb 13, 2014 1:04AM PST

My Dad recently passed away and his desk top is password protected. I will be making a trip there (several states away) to see what I can do. We need the info on his hard drive. Can I simply access the info by removing it and hooking it up to my laptop as an external drive?

NTPASSWD, Live CDs and more.

A password to the PC is NOT a hard disk password protection system.
