Hi,

I am using Internet Download Manager v6.07. The problem I am facing is when I open any video link in Chrome browser, it automatically asks for download rather than streaming the video. This happens only with the Chrome Browser.

I am using Win 7 and google chrome Version 22.0.1229.79 m

Restrict IDM from direct download

Hi,

Please check if the option shown in the image is enabled or disabled. Launch 'IDM'>> go to 'Options' >> Under 'General' tab>> ensure that 'Automatically start downloading of URLs placed to clipboard' option is disabled: Image

You may also refer to this article if the videos that are downloaded are of a specific file type.
Also, which browsers are selected in 'Capture downloads from the following browsers' option?

Hope this helps.
Please reply if you have any further questions.

Thanks and Regards,
