As something does not sound right I'm guessing this is not the OS that came with this laptop. To restore such a system I find myself using the recovery media we made when we got the laptop.
Use those DVDs now.
When starting my Lenovo 3000 N100, it is going to Recovery Mode (OS, Windows 7 Professional). When opening the laptop in repair mode, it shows Recovery Options with an option, "restore your computer with system image created earlier". Clicking OK, "add drivers" box appears. Once OK it , "System 32" folder opens. It has a driver folder. Is it possible to select the right driver or image file from the System32 folder to repair it? If so, which file to be selected? Please, someone help me.
