Sep 1, 2014 10:21PM PDT

Hello everyone,

Can I please get some help with image editing issue. I have a website template, which i need to use but my problem is that i need to change the logo text to my text. However i am not able to do this, i tried it with Photoshop, Fireworks, Dreamweaver but no luck. I would like to keep the design and the effects and only change the text.

Please help, any advice would be appreciated

I'm afraid that is not possible. You can't the pixels behind the current letters by the original pixels. That would be the first step before writing new text.

So you need to use the original picture without text for a start. Just ask the author of the template if he can send you that.

Mostly it can be done with photoshop but if it is not working then you can use illustrator which produce a vector image and divide the template into different layers. I think that's the only possible solution.
