You never write to that DRIVE!!! Never.
You recover files from the drive like you read at http://www.techrepublic.com/forums/questions/how-to-recover-data-from-raw-drive-for-free/
Anyone that offers a repair of the file system is new and putting your files at risk.
Recently, Seagate external hard disk is inaccessible since it always asks to format when trying to access anything inside. I do also run disk check there and get a error message saying the CHKDSK is not available for RAW drives. Do you know about such RAW format drive issues? What am I supposed to do for rescuing drive files? Thanks a lot!
