The obvious solution is to buy and install a legitimate genuine version of Windows.
The easiest exit is to install a legitimate version. This is called "installing over the top." If it's just a license issue, then buying the same version and changing the CDKEY often fixes it. How to change the CDKEY is on the web so I pause here.
IMO, it would be best to format and reinstall if the non genuine copy was downloaded from a site other than microsoft. Otherwise, you will be stuck with any malware or spyware that came with the non genuine copy.
