How to remove pending bad sectors

Hi, im running 10.6.2 and was wondering if and how is it possible to remove bad pending sectors, thnaks

I don't run an Apple. But in Windows I wouldn't trust a hard disk giving pending bad sectors and replace it by a new one. No risk for me. But you may like to try a repair. See http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1641 for that.

If it's a diskette or a USB stick (you didn't tell), I'd throw it away.

Those OS's are long in the tooth so I expect that the poster is not using them.

Where did you get the information regarding the pending bad sectors? This to the OP
