How to remove Joomla Title

Dear All

I am new to Joomla and i want to make website in Joomla but i am facing some difficulties.

1st: I want to remove the default title "welcome to frontpage"

2nd: i want to link a menu item with my own designed page in HTML(Frontpage 2003)

But as for #1, you can't really. You have to code your design into Joomla's template system. With all it's modules and components each being added, you must code each to work with the design you want to use. Not to mention Joomla's default structure has to be styled as well.

It's not as easy as hardcoding a site (in my opinion) but it's how they work. Same with WordPress and Drupal and other CMS systems.

Also, I would suggest not using FrontPage (especially 2003 edition). They don't really code to today's web standards and would just require you to recode it anyways.
