that only contains pictures that you do want to see and then setting the screen saver app to only use that album?
Moving pictures from one album to another does not remove the picture from the original. Pictures can exist in multiple albums at the same time.

I've just bought a new mac and set up the screensaver so that it only shows particular folders.
I'd actually like to be more specific and have the screensaver not show certain photos within a folder/album - but I don't want to move them to a different album. The reason for this is some photos aren't great, but moving them out of the folder (e.g. family vacation 2010) means I'm likely to forget that I've got them and I'd prefer not to delete them entirely.
Is there a way of flagging certain photos so that the screensaver will skip them? I've done some googling, but have come up empty on this!
