They have support and even a forum. Might be a better place for this particular problem.
I discovered that my main computer had acquired the 'Pure Networks Platform' mess, possibly from when I installed a Linksys WRT 160n wireless router. The actual software doesn't seem to be on the setup cd, but I haven't downloaded it either. Have figured out that its give me slowdowns and wierdnesses and generally making me mad. Especially when I find that it does not show in Add Remove! Tried searching for Pure Networks remover, and other variations in wording. Find that lots of people have similar difficulties. What is the trick? Safe mode and delete the folders? Search the registry manually? Thanks in advance.
Clear that it doesn't appear in 'Add Remove', nor does it appear in 'Addremove pro' which I have, nor can I get CCleaner to find it, nor can I find an uninstaller in the program folder. The website is quite useless as far as I'm concerned, as are the forums. I just want to remove the thing-it doesn't appear in "Advanced Uninstaller" which I downloaded from Softpedia either. The more I chase this the more I believe it's at least spyware related. Otherwise why install in such a devious way.
