how to remove a NETWORK CONNECTION

Apr 21, 2005 12:29AM PDT

Win XP home sp2

Under NETWORK CONNECTIONS, I have ...
1. Local Area Connection LAN or High-Speed Internet Network cable umplugged VIA Compatable Fast Ethernet Adaptor

2. Local Area Connection 2 LAN or High-Speed Internet Connected Realtek RTL8139 (This is what I use)

I had a cable hookup for short time and changed to DSL.

I would like to remove "Local Area Connection LAN or High-Speed Internet Network cable umplugged VIA Compatable Fast Ethernet Adaptor".

Can I safely do this without screwing up something and HOW do I do it?

Thanks

Ben
