How to reinstall WINDOWS XP easy or easier??

by Roundwheels / January 20, 2006 4:41 AM PST

I have Windows XP and have had to reinstall so many times that I can't reinstall it anymore. So I called Microsoft and went through this and that and finally got the assistance I needed for a ONE TIME install.

BTW, when I install, it of course, takes forever and ever. Is there anyway to create a disk or CD that would back up my WNDOWS XP from my hard drive which would have all my settings - so that when it gives up the ghost again I can just put CD in and have it boot up and copy all the necessary windows files back to a clean reformatted hard drive?

I've had this XP since 2002 and evry time I had to reinstall, I also have to update the thing onlnie forever adding service packs etc., etc.

I would so much like to just slip a disk in and have my system restored to its simplest and cleanest form.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
