Question

How to reinstall Boot Camp on a new HD in Mac OSX Mavericks

Feb 26, 2015 12:22AM PST

I had to install a new HD in my 2007 iMac and its back up and running in Mavericks. My problem is that I had saved my previous Boot Camp volume(using Winclone) on the previous (bad) HD which had been created years ago with boot camp 3 and was running windowsxp. My present boot camp(5.2) setup tells me that it will only install windows 7/8. So how can I reinstall my boot camp 3 windows xp volume if the present mac system won't let me? I don't have an installation disk for any windows except xp and don't welcome the prospect of having to buy another one.
