How to recover data off a hard drive.

Aug 31, 2005 2:49AM PDT

Can anyone help me and tell me how to recover data off a hard drive?? I really need the data. I have already tried hooking up the hdd to another (this one with the data being in the slave) and when I booted the computer, a message came up on the screen saying that damage might occur to the other hdd. (the master)
So does anyone know how to get the data back????????????????????????????????

Please help.

Thanks

when you moved it? Possibly your system things that you have two Primary Master drives.

If it was jumpered as CS and you didn't hook it to the middle connector that MAY be part of the problem.

I put the drive that crashed on the slave and the hard drive on the current computer on master.

Do you have copies of the data stored elsewhere?
