How to recover data from old version of a datebook.dat file?

Jun 18, 2005 6:20PM PDT

I've just got a Tapwave Zodiac2. I've managed to get the data from my old Palm IIc onto my new Zodiac! Yeay!

What I'd like to do is recover the data I lost when an early Palm V of mine crashed (quite a few years ago now). I've found I've still got some old copies of the datebook.dat binaries.

I'd like to find out if there is some way of translating a datebook.dat file into a plain text file of dates/data so that I can see what was in there. And then, if the data *WAS* useful, I'd like to know how to get this data onto my Zodiac (without entering it all over again)!

Thanks,

Adrienne
