Question

How to recover a deleted User Account

A new one was created, however when I try to open something I get this Error Message...
c:\windows\system32\rundll32.exe......
It also says Application not found and it asks me what program I want to open with..Even System Restore

For example we have Windows XP, vista and 7 and the steps vary.

And there is NO SUPPORTED METHOD to "recover" a deleted user account. We could create a new account. We know creating the same name account will assure the loss of any file in the old account if we re-used the old accounts name so we don't do that.

Then in the new account we could copy over the old user's files.

But again, there is no support to recover an old account.
