1) Will the 15 foot pole be handheld or attached to something sturdy? Holding a pole that long and expecting steady video for the entire duration seems like it won't work. Even if the pole is anchored to something sturdy, at 15 feet, it is likely even a light wind would make the 15 foot pole (I presume the pole is somehow portable) sway/move.
I want to record school football games for scouting purposes. There are often no bleachers so I intend to mount the camera on a 15 foot pole. Since this is scouting, the resolution does not need to be high. There are roughly 80 plays per game that last on average 5 seconds. The audio doesn't matter. I want light weight, affordable, easy to load on the computer. The Holy Grail would be a wired remote control go pro with a view finder. Digital camera or camcorder? Any suggestions? Thank you.
