How to receive PC signal on TV

I am running a Sony computer with Media Center Edition XP('04) operating system. I use the computer to watch cable TV, slides and music of course and would like to get a new TV(built in wireless receiver's?) for my living room to do the same.
What is the best and/or easiest way to 'wire' the signal to another room about 20 ft. away?
Digital wireless media router ? How is picture quality ?
