how to put minidv on to your computer

I have a minidv camera and i want to put the videos i have taken on the camera and then put them onto the computer so that i can edit the videos, Can i do this? if so can somebody please tell me how.


Video camera - Sony DCR-PC120E PAL

It has a USB input but when i have plugged this into the computer it will only work off of the memory card.

Please HELP!!!

Get a firewire card(iLink) and a firewire cable.

Firewire is the way to go. A firewire card with a cable is $25~45 in the USA, I don't know what the translates to in your currency.
