Re: waterproof

https://www.google.com/search?q=iPhone+waterproof+case gives useful links.

Realize that the deeper you dive, the higher the pressure. So be sure the case is guaranteed to be waterproof up to the deepest point you want to take it with you.

Note for other posters: posts with links to shops (especially Chinese shops) will be deleted.

Before you do it...

1) make sure your phone is insured, either through carrier, home insurance policy or case manufacturer

2) make sure you have data backed up

3) have backup phone on hand either in dive boat (if you desperately need it), or back in hotel room

4) having access to an alternative phone/sim w/ service is also recommended

5) understand that even so called 'waterproof' cases are not actually as such

been there,done that Wink

enjoy the trip(!)

Don't forget...

....there is no such thing as a waterproof case, only water resistant to a specified depth and length of time. "Waterproof" would mean you could dive to an unlimited depth for an unlimited time.

I recommend you to buy a 2nd hand GoPro. It safer and cheaper if anything goes wrong with a iPhone waterproof case.
