How to present while people are twittering...

found this buried in a medical blog, but interesting for people who give lectures and what not:

On a related aside, it is CRAZY how twitter is exploding in the real world media recently. SRSLY! i mean ppl on bol used to complain about its coverage i dunno a year or so ago, but now its soo all the rage its crazy. cnn has been messing around with it for awhile, then a couple nights ago senators are tweeting during the president's speech?, even friday nights daily show jon talked to brian williams about it, and now a medical blog is talking about hash tagging at our yearly conference!

hehe soo cool me thinks, just crazy how explosive its been...

what do you think caused the explosion now and not 4 months ago??
