That's an USB 2.0 solution.

And should not have the lag issue. If you follow subsequent postings I may note the USB 1.1 or 2.0 speed issue.

Not knowing your capability with computers, you could buy a A/V card and install it into your laptop. Then you can run the xbox straight from your laptop. I bought mine on ebay for ten dollars and works great. I would think that they get a lot higher in price.

Yeah I have the same problem. I want to hook up my xbox to my computer because my tv doesn't work and i can't play my xbox on anything else. I have an HP desktop computer and i was wondering if I can hook it up to something on my computer. Im not so good with computers but I know I have some USB hook ups, ethernet hook up, line in, and one that looks like the monitor plug. Please if you have any info email me beacuse I have no idea how i got to this site.
Thanks

Vivo Video card or TV-Tuner

On a desktop the solution is pretty simple. You can get a TV-Tuner PCI card for which the lag is virtually non-existent and can plug the XBOX in that way.

Or, if you don't have an integrated video card, you can get a Video card that has VIVO (Video in, Video out) capability and basically does the same thing as a TV-Tuner, but in an AGP slot you have a lot higher bandwidth, less lag and better response time on the monitor.

Help playing Xbox on your desktop

I have a Sony with Gigapocket installed on my computer and I watch TV via either Windows Media Center or Sony Viao Media, both of which cause my XBox a three second delay. I can't play the Xbox on my computer because of this delay. It's wholly irritating. Does anyone know of any other software in which television can be viewed live without a delay therefore solving the problem???

I know the prob.....

the same thing happened to me. the MCE is bundled with a tuner card that has PVR function (it can fast forward, rewind, etc.), what you need is a capture card, i just purchased mine last night from newegg.com this is what i bought: http://www.newegg.com/app/viewProductDesc.asp?description=15-100-103&DEPA=0
and that is better than the MCE PVR because this card doesnt have a delay and therefore is real-time (w/out delay) so check it out....
