I'm not a techie but I'm not stupid either. But then again I'm not so sure anymore as I cannot get my samsung series6 40" LED TV to play through a samsung HT-Z320R home cinema. After paying almost 1700

How are you connecting the two units? For video, you can use HDMI, but for the audio, you may want to use optical to get the surround sound from broadcasts that carry a 5.1 signal.
