How to Permanently Unistall --Games

I need help please..I posed this same question on computer & newbie forums, guess i should''ve posted here first, for help from those who also have windows 7.

Bought a sony vaio laptop w/windows 7 home & IE8 on it, while my toshiba with XP being fixed. Either way, probably the most computer illiterate person ever.. Going to try use this Sony (toshiba as backup)..so, here's first question

How to unistall--completetly--permanently, Microsofts games???--It is NOT listed when i go control panl>program>program/features..

If i click on "turn window feature on//off--i see it listed as "games" but yuou cant unistall from that screen..


tell me how please..

Do the following steps...hope this will solve your problem

After you uninstall the games, you can remove them from
the Add-Remove list either by using a tweak tool, like this:

1. Choose Start / Run / Copy+Paste the next line into the RUN box and press [ENTER]:
notepad %SystemRoot%\Inf\Sysoc.inf

2. Scroll down until you find the line that reads: Games=ocgen.dll,OcEntry,games.inf,,7
and add the word HIDE to the line so it now reads: Games=ocgen.dll,OcEntry,games.inf,HIDE,7

3. Use the same technique for any other items you want to hide.
