Question

How to open the PMI express x16 slot

I know this sounds like an incredibly dumb question but I am having trouble opening the PMI express x16 slot. The other slots look a bit different and open as expected but this one is giving me trouble. I'd like to upgrade my gpu but that slot is giving me problems
Pictures in case they help:

(PMI express x16 is the top slot)

Also I am using the dx4320-39 desktop by gateway if that helps.

Answer
Idon't understand what you mean by...

"open" the slot. I never heard of opening a slot before.

"Opening" the slot

When I say open the "slot" I mean this: https://goo.gl/photos/TDE6JJpzFL1cBQzq8
Sorry if I'm using the wrong terminology. It looks different from the others and I can't figure out how to open it. I can open the others very easily. Inside it has a PCI x16 so it must be able to open

Answer
I bet you meant "how do I release the card?"

I looked around and didn't find a video or tutorial of good enough quality so text it is.

I have to figure out the release latch. That is, some have you push a lever to the right or left. On one slot system there was a slide lock. Sorry about no pictures or video.

I did not mean how to release the card

Thank you for a response and I'm sorry for most likely using the wrong terminology. When I say "open" the slot I mean opening this: https://goo.gl/photos/TDE6JJpzFL1cBQzq8

The others look different and are easy to open but I can't figure out how to open this one. There is a PCI x16 so there must be a way to open it but I can't figure out.
Any help would be amazing because I want to upgrade my gpu

That looks like the breakoff variety.

The little crosses is where I stick in a small screwdriver to bend it back and forth to snap off the cover.
