How to open Safari Bookmarks in Windows Firefox,PLEASE HELP!

Aug 27, 2010 2:54AM PDT

My IMac G5 Kaput so I transfer d the system contents to an external hard drive and now using a laptop with Windows 7 .

Sadly I didn't get a chance to back up my bookmarks from Safari but there is a couple of files titled Bookmarks in PLIST file format from the old mac system.

How can open this/use in Windows Firefox so I can restore my old bookmarks from the Mac system.

I had a look on the net but couldn't really find anything covering this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Happy

Thanks in advance.

I tried plist Editor for Windows by CopyBot, it opens the file as XML (text) then you can trawl through a very long list of stuff (depending how many bookmarks you have) in which it has the website address amongst the coding.

Quite handy and free, link below:

Typical thing, half the stuff I was looking for had moved anyway! Happy

Have a good one!

All the best.
