How to network XP pro and win98SE

Mar 1, 2005 2:47AM PST

I am trying to set up a 4 PC network at home. My PC runs XP Pro with SP2, 2 other desktops have Windows 98SE and my laptop runs XP home. I set up using XP pro network wizard and a setup disc for the 98 PC's. All the desktops can see each other on the network, and I have full access to all from the XP Pro machine. The 98 machines however cannot access the XP pro machine as they require a password which I have not set up. Can anyone help or advise how to start again?

XP requires username and password for login. Under username put <workgroup name\computer name>, password not required.
