Question

how to name folders on a video camera

I am new to the forum.

I am researching for a video camera with removable media such as SD, SDHC etc.

The cameras will be used to do building inspections where I create a new video or photo folder for each building I inspect.

The need has arisen to be able create and name a folder, on the video camera, to record the video files in for each building inspected.

I may do several buildings in a single day so I need the ability to create and name multiple folders to store the video files.

For example, I use still cameras (D-80 etc) where I create folders on the fly to store the photo files for each building inspection. I need this capability in a video camera. For example, a Panasonic TM700.

Best Buy and HHGregg reps. told me they are not aware of video cameras with that will do this. Google searches
have not lead to particular makes of video cameras with this feature listed in the specifications.

Any input of cameras with this ability would be appreciated.
