Answer
No. Downloads land in internal memory

This has never been implemented in any Android I've seen to date.

It is possible to download an APK to the SD card but that is not what 99.99% of folk use for app installs. If you use the Play store app, there is no option to use the SD card as the download space.

Workaround but dangerous is to go get the APK and place/download that to the SD card.

This is rather advanced and I take it you know the differences here between download, install, internal space and SD card spaces.

Can u tell about the detail about downloading by apk in sd

Sorry no.

I could never guess the browser or if the APK is even available. Then it comes with such a high risk of being a trojan that I must leave the how to, to the app maker and you. I can not guess what you could use for the download (browser, etc) and then there's the nasties out there.

So, you have a lot to learn about Android. It takes time and does not fit in this small text box.

Try simple. Download the APK on your PC, copy it to the SD card and run that APK on your Android. But don't write I didn't warn you of the nasties.

I think you can try link2SD, this is an app that I know which can do this. Or you can do it in app manager of your phone in settings.

Navigate to settings on your phone. You can find the settings menu in the app drawer.
Tap Application Manager.
Select an app you want to move to the microSD card.
Tap the Move to SD Card button. If you don't see a Move to SD Card button, the app cannot be moved.

I have tried it by using, settings --> application manager --> no option available to move, mine is Samsung Galaxy S7. Hope that android may come with better features soon.

If you can't move the app.

Look for the app settings to use the SD card storage. Most if not all Camera apps have this.

Who's to blame!?

I just read a comment saying Android should fix something on a Samsung phone. Are people still ignorant of what Android does

I'm pretty conversant about Android.

But as we have fragmentation, I can't guess what your phone on Android can or can't do.

So you have to state your opinion about this mess, here I avoid the issue by setting minimums for my Android phone.
