You'll have to test. I've run 14 meters without problems so 10 should be fine. But what if your cables were not so great? I use cables by AmazonBasics when I can and then the others.
As to HDMI extenders these are so plentiful that my only feedback is that you want to buy where they allow returns.
Hi, I am wondering if someone can help with a solution to displaying our laptop screen across multiple TVs all at once.
To put it simple, here's what we would like to do:
LAPTOP > HDMI > SPLIT HDMI TO 3 HDMI's > 3 SEPARATE TVS
So far I've found something called a HDMI splitter that would allow us to split one hdmi into 3 outputs of hdmi.
Please note, we would like to do this with 10 metre hdmi cables... Potentially longer, but I am concerned we will lose quality of signal when longer than 10 metres.
Here comes the questions...
Can we run 3x 10 metre hdmis with hdmi splitter with no issues?
Is there a way we can go even longer than 10 metres? I read something about a hdmi extender but can this be used alongside a hdmi splitter?
Can anyone recommend a brand to go for?
Is there a better solution than a HDMI splitter?
