If I would need to know if I my mobile has virus or not then I would definitely download McAfee or any other notable anti-virus along with anti-malware app. You can search for free as there are tons of free apps you can make use of. Apart from an anti-virus app you can look for some recommended privacy settings for your handset. Ask me further if you get stuck here.
It's not possible nowadays.
Only Windows system have this vulnerability, but even windows phone none.
There is completely difference between using phone and laptop.
