Before I start, here my system Specs

Few problems with the OS i guess, unable to solve them. Like my Wireless adapter stopped working: http://social.answers.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/w7network/thread/da5fc474-94ff-4534-a72a-3f5ac1648846

If Firefox Crashes(v3.6) and I reload it with about 50 tabs 7 windows: sound becomes choppy, sound is choppy even when I'm playing games and not using Firefox or any other programs(except for Xfire in the background)

System has become very slow overall, no crashes or anything. Keeping the system drivers up to date, using Windows update, also using Ccleaner to keep the registry clean and remove all junk.
Scanned PC for viruses, malware, trojans using KIS, Malwarebytes and Spybot(everything clean)

NOW TO COME TO THE POINT.

HOW TO BACKUP MY FILES AND SETTINGS ON MY OS DRIVE(C:\)
I ask because the settings of some applications like FF can be backed up manually, but for some games like Batman:AA, its not possible as I have to backup the Save Game Folder and the XLive folder and settings as well. Plus there are some of my programs which are from giveawaoftheday.com and cannot be reactivated.

So if I format my PC i will lose out on some of the data which I don't want to.

Can someone help me out here??
