ok.. this may be a really stupid question but i can't seem to find a simple straight answer.. is it or is it not possible to simply password protect a file folder on the win xp pro desktop? it's really quite simple, why can't i figure it out? here's the scenario:
i have a folder on my desktop called "private". when i double click the folder to open it, i want it to prompt me for a password. thats all.
can anyone help?
Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly
Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
